Don’t forget to remind ALL your teachers, parents & even students to nominate those teachers who go above & beyond to help out their students, classrooms, other teachers or the entire school! Every month we will pick one teacher & that teacher will receive a $101 in school supplies of their choice from Central Office Supply! Nominating a teacher is easy, just go to www.KIXWEB.com & click on the Pack the Backpack banner. There you will find all the info you need to submit a teacher. So let’s all team up & help our area teachers! We look forward to all this year’s entries.

    Counselor Corner:

Students and Parents something new. The "School Counselor Box" is the most common way the students at Collins-Maxwell let the School Counselor know they have a concern that they need to discuss. Students fill out an index card that is located in any teachers room, office and counselor office with their first and last name and just a few quick words/sentences as to why they want to talk to the counselor, or a concern that is going on. Once the student has filled out the index card, he/she places it in the "School Counselor Box" in Ms. Martin’s Room. If Ms. Martin is gone, the box will be located in the MS/HS office.

Appointments are then set up for the students by the School Counselor. Parents are not contacted about these student appointments, unless the School Counselor deems necessary.
